Work / Ceramics studio
Mudlark Ceramics
A one-potter studio selling at markets and to two shops. The work was good; the price tags were sticky labels, and the online photos sat in a social feed nobody could search.
What we did
- Drew a thrown-pot mark that reads as a maker's stamp and presses into clay as well as it prints on paper.
- Chose a bisque-and-glaze palette taken straight from the studio's own tests.
- Designed a hang tag with room for the piece, the glaze and the price, printed on recycled stock.
- Built a small portfolio site organised by collection, easy to send to a shop buyer as one link.
The outcome
The maker's stamp now goes on the base of every piece. Two more shops picked up the work after the first buyer was sent the link.
